Funeral services will be held Friday for Richard Gablenz, 43, a teacher and athletic director at Fremd High School in Palatine, who was killed Sunday in a traffic accident.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, 290 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 Route 14, Crystal Lake.
